	Onofrio Padalino arrived from Sicily in 1961 answering an advert for a "Continental Stylist" position in Torquay. After a mere 18 months Onofrio opened his own salon on The Terrace in Torquay. Offering a personal, professional service Onofrio had started the high standards that gave the salon its distinctive reputation. In 1968 the salon moved to Babbacombe, Onofrio, known as Tony to his friends, soon became part of the community and continued the tradition of great care and attention to the individual, adapting styles through the 70's, 80's and 90's to meet the trends and fashions of the day. In 1999 his son Giovanni (John) took over slowly modernising the salon - eventually, in 2007, moving into larger premises as the business epanded. Senior stylist Jen arrived in 2008 allowing the salon to provide a whole range of colouring services and precision cutting. Jamie joined the team in 2010 providing a cutting edge angle on modern mens styling. Onofrio salon is proud to offer a professional, efficient and modern approach to mens hairdressing.
